Author Information

Jack Heath is 21. He decided as a young child that he wanted to be a novelist, but didn't begin writing seriously until he started The Lab when he was 13. Jack writes soundtracks for short films, plays bass in four local bands, and has a part-time job as a music tutor. He is currently writing a feature-length screenplay. Jack's debut novel The Lab, published in April 2006, received fabulous publicity, and netted 11,500 copies. In 2007, he published the sequel Remote Control. Jack has signed a three-book deal with Scholastic US (the publishers of Harry Potter) for his Six of Hearts series.
