Author Information

Jack Heath is 23. As well as writing and composing music, Jack teaches a creative writing course at the Canberra Institute of Technology. Jack's debut novel The Lab, published in April 2006, received fabulous publicity. In 2007, he published the sequel, Remote Control, and in 2009, the third instalment, Third Transmission. Remote Control was shortlisted for best sci-fi novel in the 2008 Aurealis Awards, and in 2009, Jack was named the ACT Young Australian of the Year. Jack has a three-book deal with Scholastic US (the publishers of Harry Potter) for his Six of Hearts series – the fourth book of which will be published by Pan Macmillan in 2011.
