This new series of books by the popular authors, Felice Arena and Phil Kettle, will have young independent readers rolling about as they relate to the antics of 'boys being boys' in a variety of everyday situations–what they do, how they do it, how they try to hide what they have done, and how they (sometimes) get away with it.
Tom and Joey have plenty of fishy tales to tell when they go fishing with Joey's dad to a local fishing spot by the river.
Felice Arena grew up in the small country town of Kyabram and later went on to study at La Trobe University in Bendigo, Victoria. After graduating as a qualified primary school teacher, he decided to pursue his love of acting and writing. Among other things, he played Marco Alessi in Neighbours for a year; starred on the London West End in various musicals, presented children's TV and appeared in numerous television dramas and commercials. An accomplished writer Felice is also the best selling author of the very popular 'Specky Magee' books (co-written with Garry Lyon). His other titles include: Dolphin Boy Blue (shortlisted for the Lancashire Book Award, UK), Mission Buffalo, Wish (shortlisted for the West Australian Young Readers Award 2000/2001), Bravo Billy! and Breakaway John.
