Author Information

Toni Collette, well known for her roles in The Sixth Sense and Little Miss Sunshine, has won numerous awards including four Australian Film Institute awards and an Academy Award nomination. She also recorded her highly-acclaimed singing and songwriting debut album, titled Beautiful Awkward Pictures, in 2006. Toni Collette currently resides with her husband in Sydney and their first child, Sage. Planet Yawn is her first book. Once a bookseller at a Sydney inner-city bookstore, Emma Magenta has written and illustrated A Gorgeous Sense of Hope, The Peril of Magnificent Love, and most recently, The Origin of Lament. She lives in Sydney, Australia, with her partner and child.
