Author Information

Shamala Ratnesar BSc, MSc, APD, is a dietitian based in Sydney. She runs a clinical nutrition practice providing nutrition and dietetic advice to individuals, and provides nutrition consultation to organisations. She has also worked in every clinical area of the public hospital system for many years. Shamala is a leading authority on omega-3 fatty acids, and was awarded the Woodhill Prize for her research into omega-3s by the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
