Tim Curtis

Tim Curtis grew up in a military family, leading to a transient childhood where regularly changing schools and neighbourhoods taught him to adapt quickly. Despite the trials of bullying, heartbreak, and the occasional teenage brawl, he earned a military scholarship and spent most of his 16-year first career in the elite Special Air Service Regiment (SAS).
Following his military service, Tim led businesses and cross-cultural teams in some of the world's most challenging and austere environments. He gained firsthand insights into both the depths of human suffering and the stabilising power of strong families and connected communities - experiences that have significantly shaped his work on building resilient kids.
Despite being an ex-SAS officer with an MBA, co-author of the bestselling book The Resilience Shield, and co-host of The Unforgiving60 podcast, Tim considers his greatest achievement to be his three kind and well-adjusted children - though he readily admits most of the credit belongs to his wife.
