Congratulations to Kim Scott who took home the Fiction prize at the Queensland Literary Awards last night with the much-lauded Taboo! Kim received the University of Queensland Fiction Book Award which is given to an outstanding work of fiction by an Australian writer.   The winner of The University of Queensland Fiction Book Award is Kim Scott for his novel Taboo (@panmacmillan). Without a doubt, it’s Cath Crowley’s week. She has followed up her wonderful Gold Inky win at the start of the week with the Young Adult Book Award in the Queensland Literary Awards. Cath is still travelling in France but Pan Macmillan accepted the award on her behalf. This beautiful book deserves all the awards and congratulations it is receiving.
