Cath Crawley’s WORDS IN DEEP BLUE has won the 2017 Prime Minister’s Literary Award in the Young Adult category. This year’s winners were announced by Minister for the Arts, Senator the Hon Mitch Fifield. The 2017 Prime Minister’s Literary Awards mark 10 years of celebrating great Australian literature. 15 judges took into consideration 450 entries. The Centre for Youth Literature announced that Cath Crowley’s beautiful novel WORDS IN DEEP BLUE has won The Gold Inky Award. Without a doubt, it’s Cath Crowley’s week. She has followed up her wonderful Gold Inky win at the start of the week with the Young Adult Book Award in the Queensland Literary Awards.
