What I love about Young Adult fiction

February 27, 2019

What’s not to like about a new Young Adult book? In the case of What I Like About Me, nothing. We have been blown away by reviews and responses to this phenomenal book. It is the debut novel from author, Jenna Guillaume (you may know her from Buzzfeed Australia or Girlfriend Magazine). And it is a joy from start to finish! Just have a look at some of the incredible reviews!

Books With Chloe – It’s a fun, quick, summer read that will have you laughing and feeling inspired.

A Sunny Spot – Personally, I would consider What I Like About Me to be the book equivalent of a power dress for big girls. It feels like protective armour that equips you for battle and leaves you feeling completely prepared for anything to be thrown at you because you’re invincible and you are understood.

A Reader – I honestly can’t gush about this book enough! I couldn’t put it down, and I highly recommend it if you’re in the mood for a sweet, contemporary YA that tackles some real issues honestly and hilariously.

So we have put together a list of even more fantastic YA books. These range from superpowers to historical fiction to slice-of-life stories and more. We are sure this list of YA titles will have you screaming “I #loveYA!”
