Mark Webber

Mark Webber

Mark Webber is an Australian Formula One legend. Born in 1976 in Queanbeyan, he moved to Europe in 1995 to pursue his motor racing dream, making his Formula One debut in 2002, and winning his first race in 2009 at the German Grand Prix. Mark's spectacular bid to be crowned Australia's first Formula One world champion since Alan Jones in 1980 was documented in the best-selling Up Front: A Season to Remember (Macmillan 2011). He retired from the high-stakes world of F1 in 2013 after 11 years, 13 pole positions, 42 podium finishes and nine race wins. In June 2014 he competed in the Le Mans 24-hour race for Porsche. Mark continues to race internationally and lives with his partner Ann in Noosa. Mark Webber's Autobiography was published by Macmillan in 2015.
